Berkley CE Ice Fishing Ultralite Rod & Reel Combo
I bought this rod for a spare ice fishing rod
It is a great quality rod for the price and now I store it behind my seat, not only for ice fishing but any fishing that comes up when the regular rod is home in the garage.
The rod sits ready to fish any water when i get the urge.. I also have a set up Redfeather Snowshoes Conquest USA Injection Molded Snowshoe and they are also for instant snow walking. (also behind the seat)
It comes with decent line, it says it is Berkley Trileneline.
The rod at only two feet long actually can reel up a nice fish, we caught some chubby trout and hauled them in really easily.
I will edit this post when i catch a sturgeon or steelhead....
Good ice fishing combo for the money April 17, 2010

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the quality of this rod was. The reel is your standard "cheap" reel but works fine and comes with some decent 4lb Trilene test. This lightweight ice fishing combo is great for the price and would recommend it!
